I have had to control my weight for my entire life and I did so fairly successfully until my early 40's when I started to realize it was controlling me. It didn't matter how much I exercised or how well I thought I was eating. I would try to lose weight by cutting back or cutting out all the things I liked for weeks only to see the scale move by 1/2 a pound. I felt true despair and disgust. And then I met Amy. She taught me a completely different way of eating that left me feeling full without depriving myself. She also taught me how to exercise differently.
